Seeing into the future as well as into the night

Advances in night vision technology are moving rapidly. Exciting developments including low-light digital imaging, visible and thermal image fusion and smaller, lighter and more cost-effective thermal viewers are rolling out as you read this. As the premiere supplier of integrated night vision photography and video systems, we are working with new high-definition video cameras that capture improved video quality at reasonable costs. Be sure to check out our HD product introduction in the next newsletter segment.

Even with major advances in solid-state imaging including ICCD (Intensified CCD), EMCCD (Electron Multiplied CCD) and EBCCD (Electron Bombarded CCD) technology, the performance of image intensifiers continues to provide the best combination of cost, low power, performance and packaging and will likely continue to be the technology of choice in most portable imaging applications for many years to come.

Electrophysics offers a cost effective way to get digital imaging from state-of-the-art intensifiers with best-in-class resolution, using our patented AstroScope system and any Nikon or Canon SLR camera and most of the popular video cameras on the market.

Sincerely,
