Christopher John Alicandro Has joined Electrophysics Corporation, Fairfield, NJ, as Director of Sales, Infrared Imaging Products. “In his new position, Chris will be responsible for providing sales support to our domestic representative network and international dealer network,” said Electrophysics’ V.P., Sales and Marketing Art Stout, who announced Alicandro’s appointment.

“Chris will also lead our efforts to introduce the CEDIP line of high performance infrared cameras within North America and assist in our ongoing product development programs”, added Stout.

Most recently, Alicandro served as Sales Manager/Director of Marketing for AdvizeX Technologies, an IT infrastructure solution provider based in Boston. Prior to that, he spent 10 years with Inframetrics/FLIR in a variety of thermographic sales and marketing positions, including Director of International Sales and Director of Thermographic Systems Marketing. He also worked as a sales engineer at GE Power Generation after receiving a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Electrophysics, founded in 1969, continues to apply electro-optical imaging technologies in the UV through IR ranges to develop practical and affordable tools for business, industry and government for such applications as optical communications and thermal imaging.
