Electrophysics® Introduces the 9350 Scope, a modular night vision monocular designed to easily integrate with Nikon and Canon SLR cameras, video camcorders and CCD cameras. The AstroScope 9350 system is designed around the popular Electrophysics intensifier common module or Central Intensifier Unit (CIU) featuring a standardized mechanical form factor and electrical contacts designed to work with Canon and Nikon SLR cameras, the Canon XL-series camcorder and a wide range of fixed lens camcorders.

The 9350 Scope incorporates military grade Gen 3 image intensifiers including the top of the line Aviation grade intensifier featuring an auto-gating power supply for reduced blooming in the wide range of ambient light levels and a thin film photo cathode that reduces halos when viewing bright light sources. A 50mm C-mount lens is standard. An exclusive capability enables the user to attach Canon and Nikon SLR lenses making it possible to create a night vision pocket scope with a high degree of magnification, all at a reasonable cost.

The pocketscope body is fabricated from an aluminum alloy and features a waterproof battery compartment. Simply change the front (lens), rear (camera body) or both adaptors to integrate the 9350 Scope onto camera platforms without worrying about back focus adjustment or assembling a series of step up or step down rings. The 9350 Scope can be transitioned from a pocketscope to photography or video use in less than 1 minute in typical nighttime ambient light conditions.
